Fulelu Edutainment Games is a company that combines the words “Entertainment” and “Education” to create “Edutainment.” We nurture curiosity through games, and in so doing, transform it into momentum to stimulate learning. We believe that teaching the world that “Thinking is Fun” and educating young talent will help nurture a better future.
Games can teach us many things.
They can teach you to use your hands to find the answer.
To calculate, to think ahead, to spot opportunities.
They help us consider what to try and how to make it work.
What results from being absorbed in a game are encounters with different emotions, and personal growth.
The time spent will surely be precious and enjoyable.
Through our games, our first priority at FEG is always development of children who will create the future.
“STEAM education” is an American national strategy that is said to have been popularized by US President Barack Obama in his speech. STEAM education aims to raise children who can learn and understand science, technology, engineering, arts and culture, and mathematics on their own.
The STEAM education program functions as a common tool for learning to solve the problems of modern society, which are intricately related to each of the aforementioned fields, by integrating the knowledge and ideas specific to each subject and area. STEAM is thus being implemented around the world with the objectives of “developing human resources dedicated to economic growth, innovation and creativity in science and technology” and “fostering civic literacy in all students.”
In Japan, programming education has been made compulsory in elementary schools from the 2020 school year. The aim of programming education is not simply to develop programming and coding skills, but also to develop “programming thinking,” and to foster “knowledge and experience,” “the ability to think, judge, and express,” and “the ability to face learning.”
To this end, we remembered the games we played as children, such as Othello and Shougi, and considered the possibilities of learning through play. The “Edutainment” business was born from this idea.
